The Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) was established in the Conejo Valley in 1963. Today, the District provides services to 130,000 residents in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, and the Ventura County portion of Westlake Village. An elected five-member Board of Directors is responsible for a comprehensive park and recreation service system which includes over 40 parks, 6 recreation centers, and more than 2,500 programs encompassing all ages and areas of interest.
